Default Headlight Adjustment Broken

Hey guys today I was leveling and aiming my headlights and all of a sudden the headlight drops and now the leveler won't move up or down. I believe at this point either the gear is out of place or it's broken. Anyone ever come up with a simple fix that doesn't require removing or disassembling the headlight. FYI I have the 2012 headlights on a 07 IS

Yeah I would say just take it slow because there honestly isn't a way to know when the gear hits its maximum revolution before it drops out of place

So you were just turning the gear with a screwdriver and the light beam pattern completely dropped? I would think the headlight would at least have to be removed to fix this.. and possibly dis-assembled..

You need to bake the headlight open, re-adjust the adjuster, its kinda like a bolt fell off a nut, you just gotta screw it back in place and then re seal the headlight.

Default Nope

Nope, but I plan on working on mine today after work! I’ve been putting it off for awhile now. I’ll post some before and after pictures!
