That is the parking light, it's a simple 194 wedge bulb as the others said. I replaced mine with an LED wedge bulb as well. The first picture is just the parking lights on with the DRL disabled. The second picture is with the low beam HID and LED fogs as well.
When you installed your LED DRLs did you wire in the decoder, and if so, how did you do it and was it easy?
^^^^Maybe I'm misunderstanding But Tungston Disabled the DRL function using Techstream. He has replaced the parking light bulb with an LED, NOT the DRL.

How does Techstream work? I installed the halogen blue/white DRL bulbs and they are just as weak and yellow as factory bulbs, so I have to install the LED DRLs which I do have. I will have to install the decoder wiring harness but I don't know how and where will the harness fit? When the dust cap is on there is no room.

More often then not you have to drill a hole through the dust cover and insert a grommet to help seal it, this allows the decoder to be on the outside of the headlight assembly. Not sure what kit you got but most of them come with a grommet..

Unless you can fit it inside the housing you would most likely have to pull those wires out of the connector.. feed them through a drilled hole in the dust cover.. and then re-insert them into the connector. Since no grommet is inlcuded you could use silicone to seal it. I'm no expert but I'm pretty sure separating the wires from the connector is do able.
I don't use my Hi beams - I pulled the fuse for them so they are not on.. I keep the fuse in my car if i should need them.

I don't have LED DRL. My DRL function is just disabled and in those pictures, that is the LED parking light illuminated in the high beam housing. They do not require a decoder.
