Default Transmission Problem 07 is250

Hello all. I have a 2007 Lexus is250 with 190k miles. I've had the check engine / Check VSC and stability control lights come on a few times but I've had it reset by taking the negative battery terminal off. Eventually it comes back on, so I'm having to do this maybe like 2x a month or so. Anyways, I went out of town yesterday and while in the city, when I got to a stop light and the light turned green, the check engine/vsc lights came on and the car didn't want to go, it was a little bit uphill and It' was like clutch was slipping. I tried putting back into park, reverse and changed to manual mode and nothing. Finally after the light turning red and green again, the car proceeded to go very slowly. Luckily I got over the small hill and started going downhill and it appeared that the car was fine after that. I pulled into a shopping center, proceeded to park but when I tried parking, the car "jumped forward" but it did stop. I tried putting it in reverse and it wouldn't go. I put it in neutral and the car went forward. Long story short. My check engine, check vsc and stability control lights are on, the car seems to go ok forward in Automatic and Manual mode, however the car goes forward in neutral and reverse wont go in. Anybody experience anything like this or know what might cause this.

***forgot to mention, that a couple of weeks ago, I took my car to the local toyota dealership (I live in Yuma, AZ) for an oil change and apparently the never tightened my oil filter correctly and the whole bottom of my engine bay, transmission and car was covered with motor oil. The car was taken back to dealership and they gave me a new oil change, washed my engine, transmission and all under the car. I just wonder if it's possible for the motor oil that leaked out got into the trannys solenoid(s) and could have messed them up causing my car to do what it's doing now or the actual washing of the undercarriage. Excuse my ignorance but I just can't think of what could have caused this issue. Thanx in advance.

The trans noids are inside the transmission case; so that's not the issue. However, them leaking the oil all over the place AND then pressure washing the vehicle doesn't help all of your electrical connections and the different ecus and electric controllers.

The hesitation at the light on that uphill kind of sounded more like a fuel pump issue or fuel pick-up issue. Were you low on fuel by chance when this happened?

Not at all. Had more than a half of tank of gas. The car was revving fine and it's been fine since when it goes and no power loss. I'm thinking something electrical due the pressure wash because all my gears go in fine except 3rd in MANUAL mode and reverse is still a no go and the car drives forward when in neutral. I'm barely taking it back to the dealership on Tuesday, my next available day off. Hopefully it's nothing expensive. Thanks Gville350 for your input.

Went to the dealership and they told me that I was going to need a new transmission. I'm going to take it to a transmission specialist for a 2nd opinion. If not, Im going to need to get another one.
