Yea I have turn my parking lights in order for the LEDs to be on but that is because I burned my DRL bulbs trying to install LED DRLs before I got the LED headlights lol.
I got really lucky... I got my set for only 1,000$

I'm 50/50 in what I wanna do.. part of me just wants to install the lights and flick on my parking lights and have them run that way.. but another part of me wants to wire them to the ignition fuse with the fuse tap.. makes me nervous cutting wires on expensive headlights.. although many people have done it

Installed my 2012 LED headlights last night.. installation went about as perfect as it could have.. I removed my HID kit from my fogs (3000K) as I was sick of how bright it was in the housing - running a stock bulb now still with yellow overlay. Headlights were fairly easy to install.. I followed the well known DIY that was posted almost 4 years ago now.. I still need to disable my DRL so that its just the LED strip that is on.. I have never used my hi beams in 5 years owning the 2 IS's I've had so i could care less about it. Big thanks to my buddy in town here that helped me with the install.
