Hey Folks
New 2009 IS 350 owner from a C-Class Mercedes. I love the Lexus hands down. I am having an issue with the tranny slipping when I make a right or left turn and accelerate. It gears down and then jerks the hell out of me. The car just passed 100K and has all the records, but alas, no record of tranny flush. Has anyone had this happen to them? Today I went slowly over a speed bump and after clearing it accelerated slowly and the damn thing jerked on me. This is really embarrassing when you have a passenger in the car that you have been RAVING on and on about the superiority of a Lexus to the German's. Any help would be appreciated

Transmission sensor cost about $200 each. Expensive to replace used transmission. It's the sensor that go bad.

So right when my car hit 131k I am getting a really hard/jerky shift from 5 to 6 and going back from 6 to 5. It doesn't happen any other time. It does it when the car is warm or cold. I have done a battery reset as well. Any thoughts? It is a 2007 IS350

.Stop drive immediately and make service ...oil,filter and pcm flash. If you are stuck a couple of times you will burn electromechanical valve. It happened to me

I've also noticed it's taking a second to go into reverse as well. Either way the car is sitting now. Also got the Takata airbag notice too
