Default Bad alternator-Need help identifying ground

This should be pretty easy... Power steering went out, battery died. O'Reilly's says alternator is bad. I charged the battery to check battery/alternator with a multimeter. Cranked car after charge, battery read consistent 13V. Then, a ground started smoking on the right side of the battery. Traced the wire (to the best of my ability) to the alternator.

The video clearly show the ground and its location. Can someone identify this ground for me? I've checked diagrams, but haven't had any luck.
