2006 Lexus IS350 dashboard replacement
Finally got the call from my dealer that they have the new dashboard. Replacement took one day. The original dashboard was not cracked but very sticky and created quite a glare on the front windshield.

Looks great! I can't wait to get my new dash
"Supposedly" being the keyword, I really don't think they have any clue. They told me the same thing but I got my door panels done first and am still waiting on a dash. I've seen it go either way.
It varies. It took me 23 months to get door panels here in the Houston area, still waiting on a dash though. Plenty of people had a lot better luck with it than I did, plenty probably have had the same experience as well though. May be that I'm in such a large market with tons of affected cars due to our heat and humidity, or it could be random luck. I've seen no trend really haha.

Took forever on the dash. I'm guessing over 12 months.
I'm still waiting on the door panels. Thanks for reminding me. I need to call my dealer again for update.

I took my car in to the dealer about 3 years ago. They assessed my car and approved the dash replacement, but refused to approve the door panels. It actually was pretty quick to get the dash replaced. I think it was a 2 week wait for the new dash and it was estimated to be an 8 hour job. My car was dropped off around 7:00am and I picked the car up later that evening. What really upsets me is that the door panels weren't replaced. I had my doors looked at twice by the service advisor at my local dealership. I even called Lexus corporate about the problem and the dealer still refused to replace them. The service advisor told me that the damage to my door panels was "self-inflicted." Yeah, right! Now the warranty enhancement is no longer available and my doors look much worse. My door panels aren't just melted in areas, but there are hundreds of fingerprints permanently imprinted all over them! All 4 doors are in terrible condition with a white "powder" look covering the black rubber areas completely. It's such an eyesore. My local dealer is almost an hour drive from me and supposed an "elite" Lexus dealer, but they couldn't care less. They have pretty much black-listed me and refuse to do business. I still need my airbag replaced under recall, but am not sure what to do. By law they have to replace it because it's safety related, but they gave me the run around for months when I tried to get a rental car while waiting for the replacement airbags to be manufactured. I've heard from others their dashboards were damaged after having the airbag replaced. Yikes!

I had the same dash and door melting problem with my 07 IS350 too. I didn't find out until it was too late and the dealer stated that the warranty for getting those replaced expired so I can't get those fix without spending a fortune. I wonder if there's a way to strip down the rubbery gunk and just carbon fiber wrap it or sand and paint it with a layer of matte paint to make it a "permanent" fix. Has anyone done this?
