Speedometer/Instrumental cluster rattle
Hi
I have a 2010 lexus is250. I have a rattle which appears to be resonating near the bottom of the instrumental cluster. It doesn't do it all the time but it does sometimes and it's quite annoying. Does anyone else have this rattle and know where the issue lies?

Yes, I had a loose yellow clip inside the lower panel (close to the *****) that cause it to make a rattle noise. After I put it back in, the rattles go away. In the winter, there is also a small rattle between the instrument cluster hitting the bottom of the plastic -- if I press on it, it will stop. I just need to remove the lower panel again and put some felt tape there -- too lazy to do that again.

Yes. The instrument cluster is slightly loose and rattles around against the inside of the dash and the metal supports. I bought a block of foam, removed the dash under the steering wheel, and stuffed large chunks of the foam between the cluster, the metal supports, and anything else that it could potentially rattle against. I had to really push some of it deep into the back of the dash but it was so worth it. That rattle was immensely annoying.
