Repair Costs
What's up guys, I'm looking to buy a Lexus IS350 or 250. I found one that was in an accident and needs some repairs. I think I might be able to get it for a good deal but I need to see how much the repairs would cost. It's a 2006 IS350 with about 80k miles. The wired harness needs to be programmed, the hood, fender, and front bumper need to be fixed, and the rear bumper needs to be painted. The front windshield needs to be replaced and same with the rear windows. And lastly the piece that holds the control arm to the strut needs to be replaced.
So if anyone had some estimates on how much this would cost, that would be awesome. Also, what would the value of the car be after being fixed. It is listed for 6k believe. What would be a reasonable offer to give the seller?
Thanks so much!

hood, fender, bumper need "fixing" (or replacing) and most likely painting to match the rest of the car
new windshield and back windows...?? rear bumper needs painting as well, mechanical work which will require parts most likely
depends on who is doing the work but that\ss creeping close to $10,000 with labor in my books
i'll agree that pictures would help in assessing tho

I strongly disagree, without pictures I can say for sure but I think around $5k is tops he will spend on parts/labor. Here is a picture of how my car was damaged and my total cost for parts/paint was $4k I did all the work myself but I also got the entire car resprayed. Believe me when I say it the damage doesn't look bad at all but I had to replace the entire front end including including the radiator and AC condenser and every little part in front of that.
