Air bag recalled for 2006-2011 Lexus IS250/350.

Just logged on to the Lexus Drivers site and this is what is showing up as of today, 5/23/16:
2006 IS350 Safety Recalls:
Title : Safety Recall GLG (Interim G2G) - Interim Notice Multiple Models and Model Years Front Passenger Airbag Inflator (Zone A)
Status: Remedy Not Available
Description: The subject vehicles are equipped with front passenger airbag inflators produced by Takata. According to Takata, the propellant in these inflators may degrade after prolonged exposure to high absolute humidity and fluctuating high temperatures. Degraded propellant can cause inflator rupture during airbag deployment. In the event of an inflator rupture, metal fragments could pass through the airbag cushion material, striking the vehicle occupants, and result in serious injury or death.
Remedy : Lexus is currently preparing the remedy for this condition and will provide additional information as it becomes available. The remedy, when available, will consist of the replacement of the airbag inflator or the airbag assembly, depending on the vehicle model.

May 23 2016 - Airbag Recall
Looks like Toyota just added 06-11 Lexus IS to the airbag recall list. I've heard other manufactures giving out rental cars and telling customers not to drive their cars. I called Lexus and the service advisor was a complete *** and said it was only the passenger side. So I told her I guess I'll have everyone sit in the cramped back seat. On top of all that I'm still waiting on my door panels to come in for over a year now from the last recall.
This round of recalls affects some but not all vehicles with the following model names and years:
2009–2011 Toyota Corolla and Matrix
2006–2011 Toyota Yaris
2010–2011 Toyota 4Runner
2011 Toyota Sienna
2008–2011 Scion xB
2007–2011 Lexus ES
2010–2011 Lexus GX
2006–2011 Lexus IS
To see if your specific vehicle falls under recall, write down your VIN and go to toyota.com/recall; you can also check any recalls, Takata or otherwise, at safercar.gov/vin. Toyota will inform owners of affected vehicles by mail. Depending on the model, either the inflator or the entire airbag assembly will have to be replaced. Due to the number of vehicles that have already been recalled, it may take some time for the necessary parts to be available.

Whelp, one more chance for a rental car I guess lol.
In all seriousness, I hope this gets resolved soon. Gotta feel for the garage techs though, I saw pictures of hundreds of Hondas awaiting airbag recalls over at r/JRITS, and that's gotta be tiring as hell.

If dealer being an *** just go to different dealer. I went to one dealer last year about sticky dasboard they say still waiting they're not doing anything yet. So I went to another dealer and got door, dasboard done in 2 week.

So I got off the phone with my local dealership and they are not acknowledging this recall.
They said "Dont believe everything you read on the internet. If a recall is taking place, a letter will be sent out to your address."
How am I to go about resolving this with Lexus Canada? I do not feel safe driving around in a car that an airbag can deploy anytime and kill me.
