You are fine for now, but your car WILL eventually be recalled. The recall is based on age of car and location of car. Cars located in the hot, humid south are being recalled first, Zone A. Zone A IS250/350 cars from 2006-2011 are recalled immediately. You are from OHIO, that is Zone B, and only 2006-2008 years are recalled AT THIS POINT, but eventually your 2010 car will be recalled.

Question? Is anyone with recall still making monthly payments on their vehicle? I'm asking because if we will be "paying" for a vehicle that is deemed unsafe to drive and there is not a fix or parts till possibly next year. Why make payments on an undriveable vehicle?

Lexus is paying for our rental. You don't have to make payment on your car but bank will reposed

I'm wondering how this timetable will work for my IS350, as I live in Washington, but the car spent it's life in Texas until Dec. 2014.

Agreed. To be honest I'm surprised that didn't happen a lot sooner.

Any chance I would get my extended warranty extended? I have extended warranty through Lexus and it's going to end in October 2017. I've had a loaner since late August, I believe it should be extended as long as the airbag isn't fixed. Anyone have any knowledge of this? I wish Lexus would just do a buy back and I would buy a newer model.
