Lexus is great with taking care of customers. I'll buy only Lexus from now on, and got my eye on RC-F

Default Airbag pice affecting vehicles

http://www.autoevolution.com/news/the-takata-airbag-recall-fiasco-has-an-effect-on-the-price-of-affected-vehicles-1-94049.html

Anyone noticing this with trade ins or private sales of affected vehicles? Also is there an actual fix? I have heard that ford did not have a fix for mustangs that have been affected and people are selling them which is why I bring up the resell value drop.

I was hoping they would just give me $1k a month that I can't use the IS... oh well I'll take a 2016 Q70. Strange thing is they said they will keep my IS at the dealer until the parts are available.

Looks like the defective Takata inflators have claimed another life, and this poor woman wasn't even driving her car. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-au...-idUSKCN1140NJ

I'm assuming you're paying something on top of that $35 a day allowance?

I am not paying anything for the Q70. They actually changed the price down to $35 on the paperwork when they rented it to me.

Yes - tried to trade my IS350C in and several dealers told me they're taking $3k-$4k off of trade in values because Lexus won't let them sell the car on their used lot until after the recall is fixed. Lexus customer service has been terrible. I don't think I'll ever buy another Lexus.
