That might not be an option for his budget. IS-F cars are like 10-15k more than a 250/350 in similar condition. Plus I'm rather digging the last gen CTS-V, way more horsepower, supercharged, similarly priced to the IS-F, plus you can get funky coupe or wagon styling.

I'm not sure about CTS-V. I love Lexus reliability. Can find used IS-F for $22k but worth every penny.

If you leave them stock and don't beat the **** out of them the 2nd gen CTS-V has been very reliable from what I've read. I do think the IS-F is a better built car with a nicer interior than the Cadillac. Its just that the Cadillac has a lot more power and IMO a lot more soul, the styling is a love/hate wedge styled by a butcher with a meat cleaver lol.

Lol, how can you not beat it up? Even a little? It's built for performance. I love the Ctsv also but I love the ISf too. Comes down to the better deal you find.
Back on point, I had an is250 for 8 months until I traded to 350. Never looked back. Better motor, braking, and reliability. Remember 2011 has new headlights.
