Whats my best option?

We either have our 30W CREE LED bulbs available in 5000K or 6000K, these are a cosmetic upgrade to get you better color. Or we have our LED headlight kits which are rated at 6000K and these will provide you with more light output as well. Either way, you will need to get the Canbus/DRL option to allow the LEDs to work with your daytime running lights.

I'm personally a an of LEDs in the fogs, as they will be brighter then stock - but not as bright as HIDs. This is actually a good thing, because your fog lights don't really have a "cut-off" which means that HIDs in the fogs = lots of glare.

Many people on the board have our XenonDepot LED kit installed in their fogs (6000k):

My car is 2006 IS250. You're right about glare on fogs which I didn't think about. Thinking of getting LEDs instead. What is the difference between the LED kit & CREE? Will I have to install decoders? Also, which one do I need to get for DRLs?

@Flipsonic - You would not need any additional decoders when upgrading the fogs to LED.

I'm not sure I understand your question though... CREE is an LED diode manufacturer. Which product on the site are you looking at specifically?

I was referring to the 9006 head light kit for $120.00 vs CREE for $34.00. Maybe I'm confused. I'm thinking that I can use the 9006 head light kit for the fog lights. After reading it some more, I guess it is specifically for the low beams? Correct me if I'm wrong.

My other question is - which bulb do I get if I want to change my DRLs to LED?

I guess DRLs are 9005. But I do want to know if I can install the 9006 headlight kit for my fogs and 9005 headlight kit for DRLs. Would there be too much glare with this setup? Or do you just recommend going with CREE for fogs and DRL? I'd like to purchase them today.
