Default What a nice set of wheels with a lip...IS350

Am sure this has been brought up but,,, am looking for a set of wheels with a nice lip for my 2006 IS350. Prefer 18 inch, most manufactured can't make it for the IS350 cause it wont clear the front brake caliper and i dont want to use spacers. Any suggestions?

If i had IS250, wheels all day long. lol

Thanks

get something with lower offset... or check out the wheel thread in the sticky... my wheels had that problem aswell where my rear have lip but front don't... but mine actually don't look too bad because my rear wheel's lip is not that deep dish so it kinda worked out...

Problem with low offset will make the wheel stick out in the front. I like it flush not poke so it really hard to find wheels with lip for IS350 for a reasonable price.

Am no so sure then since its not your car that its a 350. To have a front lip that deep its hard to clear the brakes. I seen guys use 7mm spacers and end up poking wheel out or not safe to drive with short wheels studs. Any bigger spacer will not work unless you want major poke

As long as the offsets arent too aggressive you should be ok.

I noe a couple ppl with 3is and they run these rims with no spacers.

Wow am surprise it work on 350, i even called manufactured and they even told me most wheels with lip will not work. And most does not have aggressive offset 35-38 offset but with lip and said it will not work and will not sell the wheels to me cause they know i will end up returning them. I seen some 350 with lip but poke out, i dont like that look. Am going for flush look. I dont like the 20 inch wheel look also make your car look high unless you do a tuck drop. lol

Thanks for the feedback.

The Work VS-XX can have a nice amount of lip and still clear the brakes. It all depends on the type of disk you choose for the front.

The following are the different type of disks that Work offer for their 3 piece wheels.

A disk - Standard dish
O disk - Deep dish
R disk - Big caliper dish
T disk - Big caliper dish

^^^ this.

Most wheels besides very cheap ones will have options to clear brakes or are just made with decent back spacing to clear generous size brakes. Who ever you're talking to is not very knowledgable in wheel design/spec's.

I have BBK front and rear and clear my VSXX by about 1mm.

Looks like your front fenders are wide body? Am afraid of getting a set and the wheel end up poking out, i don't want that look. I like a clean flush look. Thanks for the feedback

I found the acutal site where I linked the 350 with VSXX.

Check out their spec to see if it would work for u. You would prolly need to roll fenders.
