my exhausts are really dirty and time for them to be cleaned. I have Meguiar d101 All Purpose Cleaner, can i use this to clean off all the grime and built up carbon build up before using a metal polish/shine?

what would you guys recommend to clean and polish the exhaust? thank you

I like the can of Never Dull.... it's like a wadding material that cleans and protects, just tear some off and rub it in and polish off.

Steel wool and some Mother's chrome polish is what another thread suggested, so I tried it and it worked great

^I need to try my quad 0000 steel wool on my GFX tips. With the catless PPE headers I now have more build-up than I had with the factory header setup with cats. The car wash fluid with a sponge just doesn't cut through it any more.

^Reminds me of Old Dutch cleanser. Cleans everything!
