2008 IS350 Front Defrost Ussue
hey all so i am getting ready to take my car out of storage tomorrow so i figured id finally post this issue wince its still cod and rainy here and defrost will probably need to be used. anyways right before putting it away last fall i noticed that if you turn the front airflow to full defrost it doesn't blow out of any vents or the floor. and it sounds like air it just blowing into a closed HVAC box. what I'm trying to find out is if there is a separate motor that controls just defrost or if only one controls all functions. or if anyone has had this issue what did you do to fix it. all other modes seems to work and switch fine.

yes thats what i mean sorry i worded it poorly. there is no air coming out of those vents i just mentioned the other vents because i have seen vehicles that had the flaps installed to the motors wrong that would give you the wrong setting. but yeah i get nothing out of any of the defrost vents. sounds like they get closed up
