Default Exhaust help mid pipe vs factory set up

Was told I needed this part replaced and wanted to know if a midpipe and this are same thing ? And if so will RWD and awd be same

Looks like the mid pipes, Invidia and megan will offer direct replacement if you want more sound. If not a OEM mid pipe will work as well. I am 99% sure that AWD and RWD are different. I know our axlebacks are the same but for the companies that make full exhaust systems like Ark and JoeZ, its RWD ONLY. Maybe someone else can chime in.

yea midpipe is drivetrain specific
