Hey guys, a friend of mine in Miami said that the usdm 2is didn't come with folding mirrors but my other friend from Jamaica said his sisters 2009 2is came with folding mirrors and she lives in Miami I am confused, is there a specific year in which the 2is began using folding mirrors? Or was she just lucky and got one that was converted?

From what I've read, all North American 2IS models didn't not come from the factory with that option. Could have been added, or was the 2IS shipped from Jamaica into the states?

I doubt it because it wouldn't make sense shipping a car from Jamaica to the states, it's more likely the other way around lol, but thanks for clearing that up.... Does the 3is come with folding mirrors?

I have a feeling your friend Confused what you meant. He is right all American 2IS come with mirrors that can fold however unlike their Japanese counter parts they don't fold via motors in the mirrors but by someone physically folding them.

Yeah his sister cleared that up, they can fold but not with the push of a button lol
