Default Lexus IS 350 Seat Repair

I wanted to share the before and after photo's of the perforated leather seat repair of my 10 IS 350. I bought the car used about 6 months ago and the previous owner didn't care for it, and finally took the dive and had a local upholstery repair place here in Savannah Ga. The total car was $651 including labor and tax, for the drivers bottom seat only.

That sounds a little pricey for just 1 seat =/ Feel like maybe you coulda gotten a brand new one for around the same price. But I could be wrong.

nonetheless good work.

Dang, did the previous owner wear pants made of sandpaper? The original seats in my '06, including the driver seat, still look almost brand new.

You would think, but she worked out a lot (Aka Sweaty but), and her husband never cared for the leather.

Not bad for a good job in matching perforated leather.

If anyone is reading this and would care to know, you can purchase new OEM 2IS seat cushion padding and leather for our seats. Basically reconditioning your used seats to brand new again. I do suggest that you have a professional install said padding and leather though onto the seat framing; not an easy job...requires experience.
