Got my Flyaudio/ChinaGPS/Roadrover today,
everything is good except for a VERY IMPORTANT ONE... AIRBAG HARNESS is missing, so the airbag light is always on....
currently disputing this and going to return it back to China... sigh

i got it from aliexpress, there are quite a few up there but be sure to message the sellers because most of them are actually sold out, yet for some reason they still list it there, i called and confirmed that they had it in stock before i placed order

These looks similar but with new icons and stuff. I got the ones that was out a couple years ago, and there were no separate airbag harness included.

did you tap into the wire to get the airbag light fixed?
or just pretend the light isn't there...? lol

There is no problem with the airbag lights.

i see.. thanks for the reply. From what i read, only certain models have this problem and apparently an updated harness will fix it. Hopefully it's something the seller can provide

Interesting... I haven't seen this model before. It looks different than the original "Flyaudio: unit and different from the 8" updated Roadrover unit.

what was your total end cost, part + labor?

the unit i have is 1k, i installed it myself, was actually quite easy since no wire tapping was required... i think i'm just lacking the updated harness but i doubt they'll have it back in China

I uninstalled it right away because i considered it as safety hazard... since i don't know if the airbag will still work
currently waiting for the seller to get back from Chinese new year (a week long holiday for most of them) and we'll see what we can do from there

look on Aliexpress, you will find quite a few models out there, but

1) make sure they are in stock, contact the seller before you place order
2) make sure it has map supports for whatever country/region you are in
3) make sure they do provide you with the updated harness for airbag or you will run into the same problem like i am
