Back in a 2IS.....350 this time :)
So as the title states I am back here in a 2IS however I got the IS350 this time. Little info here about the past. I used to own a 2008 IS250 that I sort of kinda inherited from my older sister after she got married, had it for a decent amount of time and it got totaled (not my fault). Ever since then I have wanted an IS350 after driving in a buddies for some time. The initial plan was to get the 3IS but things didn't go to plan and I ended up with a GX460 as the weekend car and a 2006 Prius as a daily beater for work only. Here is the part that some people will start hating on, fast forward a year later I was browsing the auction site and came across a 2006 IS350 with only 51k miles on the clock, checked service history and it checked out as a super clean car that was very very well maintained and I jumped the gun and got it for $4,700 and yes it a salvage title but for that price I'm not complaining at all and my previous IS was also a salvage and had no issues so please keep the comments to yourself. I still don't have it as it needs to be picked up from Los Angeles and brought up to me. Once I'm done fixing all the damage it should cost me around $8,000 for everything.
Now the question I have is I want to convert it to a 2011-2013 F-Sport front end however I don't want to get the newer headlights at the moment, Can I reuse my old brackets from the old headlights or do I need to buy the new brackets and will they bolt onto the older headlights without any issues?
Here are some pics of old IS250.
And the new to me IS350.

Was the rear end repaired? I see it was rear-ended in the accident, but repaired in the "yard" pic?
From the looks of the front-end damage, you'll probably end up replacing the front radiator core support and perhaps any damaged A/C lines and such in that damaged area.
Probably in it for more than $8k total with doing the labor yourself. Still not bad considering the mileage of the car overall; but the re-sell value will just not be there. But I think you don't really care about that right now.
Give us updates and pics along the way!

^Those are two different cars, his first one that got totaled and the one he bought. Damage doesnt look bad, and for the price its a good deal. Even though its salvage, you'll at the very least be able to get back the $4700 a few years down the road so enjoy it. Came with the g-spyder wheels too which is a definitely plus

Update #1: Sp took delivery of the car today it was dark so I couldn't see much but looking around the car it turns it is the luxury package with ML only things I don't have are parking sensors and headlight washers which are useless features to me.
And on another note I was able to get a first gen Fsport exhaust for $400. The guy on Craigslist had no idea what a gem he had in his possession and let it go for dirt cheap. Here's a pic of it when I picked it up.

It was dark when I got it but engine is good ran it for about 30 minutes at idle and revved it up to redline and sounded like new. Frame seems to be straight but I'm no professional, it will be more visible when the front end is gonna be taken apart next week.

Another update:
Found most of the parts needed to fix this baby up. Still looking for a headlight and intake box so shoot me a PM if you have any of those things. Got the hood replaced temporarily waiting on my new hood hinges to come in to permanently put it on, and got the entire front end taken apart ready for the new stuff to go on. Here are some images.
