Default Do I need hubcentric ring?

So my wife has an 08 is250 awd, and looking to use the steel rims and tires off the previous honda accord that we had, but when i test fitted them, everything fits nicely except there is a space between the wheel hub and center hole of the rim. When you tighten down the lugnuts in criss cross fashion it pulls the wheel perfectly centered.
So would i need a hubcentric ring still? and if so how do i figure out the size?

Thanks in advance.

well I looked it up for the IS250, and it measures at 60.1 and the rim off the accord is 64.1, so therefore i would need one 60.1 -> 64.1, or 4mm thick to fill in the space....correct?

Yes. It is a must to have for certain wheels. Do not drive without them on your Lex

thats a 2mm thin ring. might need custom machined aluminum rings. if it's for temporary driving, it might be fine. if you're going to drive on it for a while, get rings.

So here is the update, after contacting 5 different rim/tire shops in the area, they all said the exact same thing.
They do not make any for steel rims, as there is no support on the rim for such a thing. They all just told me that it will be fine and to use the lugnuts to center the rim on the hub.

The steel rims are for winter use only, in case some of you are wondering. Any thoughts on this? Should i keep looking or order online, but risk them not being able to work with steel rims.?

I would just wait but if you choose to not then eye ball as best as you can. Remember NOT to put the weight on the car and tighten as much as possible. This will help center the wheel. Then lower and torque to specs. Remember you will get vibration because you're not using rings. If you decide to go with out rings the vibration could possibly loosen over time and there goes your wheels. Some may disagree and say don't worry about it but I'm just giving you m/o and the safety aspects.
Here's a link and hope this helps for rings if not keep searching and calling.

yes, you will probably need hubcentric rings. you might notice some vibration when you don't have them on.
also, better to be safe and have the wheel rest on the hub and not on the wheel studs!
