IS350 19" rear wheels 265/30 or 255/35 ??
Hello everyone,
Looked through a ton of the aftermarket wheel thread and I've been noticing that everyone with IS350's is mostly running a 265/30/19 or a 255/35/19. Even seen some people running 275/30/19's as well. When I say "most" I'm referring to the people with light to moderate drops that most likely use the car as a daily driver. My 2010 IS350 is lowered on F-sport Springs so it doesn't have an overly aggressive drop on it. I'm currently running an OEM 18" lobster claw setup. 225/40/18 fronts and 265/40/18 rears. I upped the rears to the 265 for a bit of a fatter look and its served nicely in that regard.
I'm looking into a set of TSW 19" Mirabeau's with a 19*8 front 35 offset and 19*9.5 rear 40 offset.
I had a 225/35/19 pegged for the front. The rear tire is where I'm looking for some input. I'm stuck between the 265/30 and 255/35. If anyone can shed some knowledge on the fitment that would be awesome.. Again my car is lowered on f sport springs.

Most of the people run 265/30 but since ur rear offset is 40 if u want more meat on tires then go with 275 it will look a little weird imo since the rear tires will look thicker than front 265/30 and 225/35 match nicely

My backseat is off limits haha I don't let people sit back there. Might as well be a 2 door haha.
I'm thinking I'm gonna go with the 255/35. I checked the specs on the wheels and its actually very similar to the 265/40 that I have on the 18" lobster claw wheel.
265/40 has a diameter of 26.3 inches (82.7 circumference). 255/35 is 26 (81.7 circumference).
The 265/30 has a diamater of 25.3 which is an inch smaller then what I'm running with the 265/40.

Fills it up perfectly and this is how it should have came factory. Without the spacer the rear wheels disappears inside the body and leaves this ungainly hang over of the rear bumper. I also plan on getting 15 mill spacers for the front.
