Default Stereo Dilemma - '07 IS250

Hey everyone. First time posting, long-time lurking. I've got a bipolar stereo (non-ML) that refuses to cooperate. I'll try to make a long story short.

It all started with a screeching middle speaker (driver's door) that eventually burned and got replaced with an OEM speaker assembly. Problem seemed to have been fixed, but eventually went back to where the entire system died out. If I turn on the stereo right now, I'll get a sharp pop from the driver's door tweeter; the pop is present in other speakers, must most noticeably here.

I've spent months searching the forums, I've tried a bunch of troubleshooting methods, popped the panels off and checked each speaker individually with a voltmeter, and I still can't seem to get close to fixing the issue. So far, here's what I can gather:

-The amp still works. For a while I was convinced I had a blown amp, but recently I've noticed that if the car is left alone for a couple of days the stereo will fire right up when starting the car. No hesitation, as if nothing happened. However, this only lasts until you turn the car off. Turn it on again and you get nothing.
-All speakers function normally. I had read that if one speaker went out, the entire system would go kaput. However, if and when the stereo fires up each speaker is at 100%.

Right now, all I can think of is a bad ground somewhere. Still, I'm at a complete loss and I'm running out of ideas. What should I look for? Where?

Thanks in advance!

Still sounds like an amp issue though. Check all of the factory grounds for the amp to ensure they're ensure. Has there been any aftermarket tampering to the stock system? Any taps for other wiring or anything added to it period?

Menu works fine, you can adjust the levels as normal. No tampering with the system, factory stock. To me it feels like it tries to turn on, but something happens and it jumps into safe mode.
