I know lexus has sent out a recall on the sticky dash for certain is model lexus, I was wondering if anyone knew when lexus would be getting the dealerships the parts to perform the recall? It seems my local dealership has no idea. Thanks!

I think it's rolling now, Lexus of Westminster already put me on the waiting list for the parts to come in. It's quite a progress as compared to 'we haven't heard anything about it yet' or 'dash what? Never knew there is a replacement on that' from the dealership

08-09 2IS year affected for the ZLD.

I have a 2004 RX330 that has cracks and the dash just arrived. I am setting up appointment next week to get the dashboard and headlights replaced both under warranty enhancement. Putnam Lexus said they are doing RX's right now, IS's is next, and i am on that waiting list too! For now, Putnam is taking care of my RX330... my IS250 is next when the parts start shipping...

I was at the delearship 2 weeks ago - took my is250 in Cus of the dash n they placed the order so now Its just the waiting game. I gotta call back n c how long it's gonna take until they get the dash in. 🙈
I just hope its not a longgggg wait....R they replacing the headlights too? I noticed that driver side one has tiny cracks inside n turns yellow within a week or so n I have to keep comin back n polishing em.

Just received my second letter after God knows how long I've been waiting to get this fixed. Says I need to take my car in to Lexus so they can verify my dash/panels and order parts.

Same here, just received second letter to take in car to dealer.

Just received second letter. Had an appt. this morning. Took it in, they said they're going to change the dash and all door panels.

Since I was in today they offered me a loaner car so they can get a recall done with the fuel line. I graciously accepted. So now I'm driving this. The service rep said the parts are going to take several months to arrive. I didn't care because at least my name is on the list and they are actually ordering parts.

BTW its a 2015 is250. I drive an 06 is250 6-speed...and i hate this car. its nice but just not good looking. very bulky inside. The best part were the seats OMFG! amazing.

Did you guys had to do anything to receive the letter? I bought mine ~2/3 months ago and been in the dealer for 1 recall. Not even first letter yet, nothing.?

Called my dealer around the end of Sept. My service advisor was busy so another helped me. He said I remember your car the door panels are bad too. I said yes replace everything. He ordered the parts and said it should be around 2-3 weeks. Much easier as I figured they would want to see the car etc. I've had this issue on going ever since my Nav screen was relaxed roughly 3 years ago. Then it got further damage from the dealer replacing the airbag harness. Finally they didn't give me any issues about it this time. Hopefully it comes in soon.
