Question WHEEL INQUIRY - Will 18x7.5 fit my 2010 IS250 AWD?

Hi there,

Currently I'm running a stock OEM setup with my IS250 AWD. I'm wondering on upgrading to 18x.75 +48 all around, and was wondering if this would effect and/or hurt my car in any way. I heard that it would hurt the tranny or the drivetrain, and was wondering what the stock option was for when you were to buy the car brand new, what the diameter of the 18' option wheels were?

I'm looking to make the purchase as soon as possible, so I would be really grateful for someone to inform me about this.

Thanks

Those should fit (depends on hub bore) but I wouldn't call them an upgrade. OEM wheels are 8" wide with a lower offset than what you are looking at. That is pretty much the opposite of what most people go for when upgrading wheels.

So 18x8 are stock wheels?? What is the offset of the stock wheels?? In terms of going the opposite direction of what people are going for, what is the more favored size? Bare in mind, I'm trying to go OEM fitment as possible so I don't mess up my car.

Are you going for a square or staggered setup?

square i think is 8" and staggered is 8" front, 8.5" rear.

OEM wheels have offset around +32.

I'm going for square all around, I thought staggered for AWD was a no-no? as oem wheels have +32 offset, having more offset and going to +48 would that be more beneficial..?

No, none of the 2IS came with square 18". The only square 18" was accessory wheels and/or F-Sport wheels meant for use on the AWD.

Oh okay. Do you happen to know the measurements of the accessory/Fsport Wheels? I appreciate the reply.

18x8.0 +40mm offset 225/40/R18

I wanted to get the F Sport 18's for so long but ended up sticking with the square 17's for now.

Yeah, I just finished adding some parts on my car and I was looking for wheels. I really don't want to go to reps. A friend showed me these XXR 527's in 17x8.25. As we know, stock squared is 17x8.0 do you think that would effect the car in any way?
