I do have to admit, every other day I pass a new black 3IS on my way home and I do find myself looking at it longer than most vehicles on the road. A white I wouldn't see myself caring too much to look for so long; but there's just something about the black ones.

Not looking forward to all of the paint up-keeping on my wife's future black on black Ford Explorer. She has no idea what it is to own a black vehicle and what is all needed to keep it looking good.

Not all styles. Id take a stock white BMW M3 or 335xi coupe any day. The IS white, stock in my opinion is a womens color. But its a total game changer when dropped with some wheels, tint, and black roof.

I totally agree bout a white IS hooked up. One of my boyz had a dumped white vert bmw with a full kit on 19's and it was sick.
Everyone has their own opinion and there's nothing wrong with that. The one thing Lexus white has over any other "white" is the pearl, it's the best stock white out there. Again IMO.

I'd say that Starfire Pearl looks really nice on Lexus'. However it does blend in a bit more with the crowd compared to black, which iMO really does a good job of making these cars stand out.

I'm glad I was able to get my '12 IS250 in black. Almost got one in Nebula Grey since I was getting a solid deal on a CPO one, but I just absolutely despised the color. It looks disgusting and hides the beauty of the car. Car was perfect but I passed on it due to the color. If you ask me, Nebula Grey is the worst possible color you can get on the IS and pretty much any Lexus.

Black makes the IS look very sleek, sporty, and classy. With the tasteful chrome accents the car just stands out on the road. Can't beat it.

But yes it does show every imperfection and gets dirty quickly. Oh well.
