Do you turn off AC before shut off engine?

The only reason why one should turn off the compressor before turning off the engine is to dry up the evap as much as possible to prevent mildew growing. If you live in a humid environment, I wouldn't bother doing this.

You notice the Air coming out of the vents is really cool, without AC on.
