Default What should i do???? Sell my IS and get a Sienna??

, I'm in a pickle of a situation. I already have one child and expecting another I don't see there being enough room for the both of them in the back of the tight Lexus IS 250. Its a great car and has been extremely reliable but I don't know what to do. It is very small in the back ( taking the kids in and out of the car) and me being so tall my seats far back. I am looking at Toyota siennas the only reason why they seem to be reliable and have a lot of room obviously. What do you guys think I should do!?

I traded in my Sienna on my LS460. I loved my Sienna. It was a great van. Had 108k miles and nothing but oil changes and brakes. I miss it often. I could take out the seats and fit a full sheet of plywood in the back. Great for road trips too.

I was actually going to buy a sienna but opted for the is instead. I have two kids and getting them in and out is not fun. Especially the car seat. So the van would def be a better option for space and convience.

Can you keep the IS and get the SIENNA? I have a 2015 Siena that I got a couple months back. Being a first time minivan owner is not easy. Did not want to give my CT back, so now we are a 3 car household. I too have two little ones, so I can completely understand your situation.

The late model Siennas are extremely quite vehicles to drive. Driveability wise they very much feel similar to RX, especially in the Limited trims. Well, you will find tons of plastic parts, so not luxurious by any means but still pretty good.

Wife and kids are extremely happy with the van. Imagine this. Two set of stroller system completely gobbled by the cargo well, leaving eons of space to put all their other stuff. No SUV can do that. Plus because I put each kid on one row, feeding them while travelling is also show easy. Simple elements, such as retractable curtains on both second and third rows are very thoughtful. They give a lot of privacy when the mom is feeding each kid.

For me, I just love the lounge second row seats while watching a movie in the second row.

Might you consider a 3rd gen IS?

The 3IS has a much larger rear seat than the 2IS. I have two car seats in my 3IS without major issue.

We also have an RX and that very easily accommodates the two seats.

There are lots of good options out there, and the Sienna is definitely one of them. We've toyed with the idea more than once.

Yeah we have two little ones and even though we fit... it's not ahhhhh yeah we get room fit. I am all about the Sienna as well. The 2015 look great and to me a minivan just makes sense when you have 2 or more YOUNG children and all the stuff that comes with on trips both short and long. Even an RX would be tight for some of us with the double stroller, pack and play, bags, and whatever the parents need to bring lol.

I say go for it... just come back to Lexus on the next one.
