Back when Sewell was selling parts online they offered a rebuilt transmission for around $2,500.00 with core. I would contact them and see how much it would be as it might be the best option to you especially if you can do the work youeself.

Pro tip for next time, if something as serious as the transmission starts acting up like that, continuing to drive greatly increases the chance of serious damage vs. just needing the seal replaced and fluid changed.

Hopefully it just lost enough fluid to operate properly and didn't cause any damage.

I hope for your sake that a new seal and fluid fixes it for you. Do take pics, as others like me like to continually learn about our cars inside and out.

Unfortunately without seeing the condition of the plates/gears/bearings/etc for excessive wear or heat due to running low on fluids, we cannot give you the best advise on your existing trans there. MY OPINION is to source a known, good working used trans...not a reman.

Good luck!

Looks like your torque converter hub seal blew out. I've never seen this on a Lexus transmission before, do you drive this car really hard?

Could pick up a good, used trans for $1k in your area.

Any thoughts about upgrading to Megan engine/trans mounts while everything is under the knife?

+1. $4500 for a rebuilt is pretty pricey. Why not get a used transmission with low mileage off eBay, craigslist, or junkyard?
