06-09 headlights fit a 2011?
Pretty simple question. I have a 2011 and the headlights are getting a bit yellowish. I see a ton of aftermarket headlight options for the 06-09 models and was wondering if they'd fit. I searched the forum, but only see threads of people asking if they can put 11+ headlights on their older models. Any info would be great. Thank you.

I didn't say I wanted to throw out or sell my original headlights. I want headlights with the LED strip and don't want to spend 2k on headlights when I just like the appearance of it. I just wanted to know if it lines up and would connect easily. I see plenty of aftermarket lights marketed for 06-09-10. I just don't want to get something that doesn't fit well.

I should've explained what I wanted better. I don't want headlights from 06. I want to buy new aftermarket headlights and want to see if they'd fit.

If you want to get rid of the yellow in your headlights I have a few options. But first what you are experiencing is the clear coat that has failed and the plastic being discolored. This will happen to all headlights that are not properly maintained. Vehicles that are garaged at home and spend their days in a parking garage or under a parking cover at work will look much better as the years pile on.
A detailer will be able to fix it for you at a reasonable cost. Just make sure that they use a perminate sealant to protect your headlights.
If you want to do it yourself you can get a headlight restoration kit. These will work well but..... they are a temporary fix as you only remove the top layer & yellow portion of the headlight. If you want to protect your headlight you will need to add a perminate sealant after you use the headlight restoration kit.
Being a hobby detailer I would use an abrasive compound like meguariers M205 with an abrasive pad on my dual action machine. If that didn't work I would wet sant the headlight with 2,500 and then 3,500 grit sandpaper. Followed up with M205 & then seal it with a perminate coating.
