60,000 mile maitenance
How important is the 60,ooo mile maintenance in the manual. I'm just at 63,xxx and wondering do i need to do it asap because the only things i see that need to be done is the spark plug change and brake fluid change. I already did the engine and cabin air filter change and had my brakes tested but they said they were good. my friend told me the spark plugs can go 100,000 is that true. I really would like to keep the maintenance up on this car Im busy paying for it monthly and i have some hit and run damage on the body on both sides I'm paying for. Just wanted to know If it needs to be done asap or whats your guys best opinions ? please let me know. And lexus wanted to rape me for spark plug change 600$ range but i see it looks like a B**** to do.

I changed the plugs on my 08 IS250 and yeah there is a bit of work involved. You have to remove the intake manifold (its recommended to change those gaskets while you have it apart - I didn't haha)
Iridium plugs aren't cheap so thats probably half of the $600 they're gonna charge you.
The job itself shouldn't take anymore then 2 hours.
Your plugs will probably be fine until 100k but for peace of mind I'd change them now. That's just me though.
