Broke my rear window by mistake
Was taking some screws out my trunk i placed them in the rubber lining that's below the window that keeps water out the trunk... I left a screwdriver there and some other little tools and closed the trunk then BOOM. Lol I was dumb founded until I saw why it happened. My fault...

Ouch, that hurts. You're lucky you didn't bend the trunk lid.
I'd find a glass replacement shop, either mobile or local, that uses OEM glass.
Be aware that the top few lines are not defroster wire, they are the FM antenna grid, so make sure you still get decent reception after the window is replaced. (oh, and that the defroster works too)

Lol yup live and learn. I will never do that again. Was told the rear window is the most expensive glass on the car.
Found another place that told me 350 but I believe I can get it for under 300. I only drive the car on the weekends so it sits all week I'm just happy the glass didn't break in or I would have needed to get it asap

Thats another feature of window tint, it helps hold the glass together when it breaks.
If you want to go low cost, have the installer provide a used rear glass as they are readily available. Rear window glass rarely gets damaged in salvage cars. There is a bit of risk involved with condition of the defrost wires and not easy to test. At least get a cost comparison new/used to see the difference.

I agree good idea. I will look for a crash IS and get the rear window from it. At least this way it will be cheaper and OEM
