My future project! Looking sick! I plan to dip the rims soon, anything I should keep in mind?

Both look good, I like the blue quite a bit. Maybe adding a semi gloss would have really made it pop!

I have been debating on trying plasti dip and doing an orange/black colour scheme but don't want to spend $500 on something that if I screw up will be a huge pain in the *** to remove.

How was your experience with plastidip? Pros and cons?

Anyone else doesn't like how plastidip makes your paint dull / not shiny. Feels cheap.

That's because he chose that kind of paint, got to dipyourcar on YouTube and see what they do. That might change your opinion on plastidip.

This is cool stuff. How does it work? What's the process for getting this done? How much does it cost?

it took me about 3 hours to tape and prep the car, and about 4 hours to paint because you wait about 20 mins between coats

its actually really simple to spray. prepping and taping the car off correctly is the harder part if you ask me. i just watched the youtube vids and i did fine. pros: way cheaper than real paint or even a wrap, easy to do. cons: have to maintain it a lot, always having to worry about scratching it, its really tough but not as tough as paint

i prefer the matte look, they make high gloss coats that will compare to clear coat

first kit will cost you $600 is, thats for the kit an the first batch of paint, then you can change colors for $250-500 depending on how fancy you wanna go
