Default Help Installing Subwoofer and Amp

I was wondering is there a way i can install my system without getting into my factory radio? Maybe use the remote wire and connect it to a fuse that has power? IF anyone can help me on this topic, that'll be great..

It's not hard to get behind your radio to run the remote. But you can always use the cigarette liter power as a remote but.

Yea like Nguyen said, I would tap the remote into the cigarette lighter in your armrest center console. I'm sure it wouldn't take much to get to and run it from there.

Do you already have a amplifier? if not then buy the one without a remote wire requirement. mine turns on with RCA cables. its all connected to oem amplifier in the trunk. did not have to touch the radio at all

I would just use a converter and use your factory rear subwoofer wires to hook it up to.

Gotcha. One more thing, i wanted to install a two pin kill switch and was wondering if i can install one wire which is the remote to one pin connected to a fuse that has power and then wire the other pin and connect it to the remote to my amp? So i can use the switch to turn it on and off. Thanks!
