2012 IS250 Halogen lights to LED question?
Im about to purchase a 2012 IS250 base with the halogen headlights. Is it a pretty simple process changing them out to the HID headlights with LED? Since Sewell is no longer around, where is the best place to purchase these head lights?? Also would I have to buy a HID along with it? I've looked at the tutorials but its mostly changing older models?
Thanks guys.

So I called my local Lexus dealership and asked if it was possible to upgrade the halogen headlights on a 2012 is250 with the new LED HID headlights and said that its not possible and has not been done since it would cost thousands and thousands of dollars. So my question is, has anyone with the 2010-2012 is250 with halogen lights ever been able to change to the new LED HID headlights?? Ive seen that you can buy aftermarket ones and put them on older IS250 but is it possible to do it with the 2012 is250? Ive searched and searched and have not found an answer to this question. Thank you.

Sewell is still "open"... they are still active on the forums and advertise that they still sell loaded and stripped headlights with the LED strips that you are talking about. Try and find their phone number on the forum, and give them a shout to arrange to buy a pair, and also to figure out the best way of installing them.
I'm not too sure what your dealership is going on about lol

So I called Sewall parts and have confirmed that their HID/LED kit will work up to the 2013 halogen lights on the IS250. The only issue he said was that your Auto will no longer work and must put it on for it to the led lights to turn on. Hope this helps some people in the future.
