Post Service Question - Dealer, Independent, or DIY?

My car is about to hit 120k miles. I bought it a few months ago from a used car dealer, and haven't had it looked at or serviced since. My family has always has high mileage Toyotas (Think 250k+) and we've never taken them to the dealer unless they were on warranty. It was mostly independent shops with some DIY oil changes and what not.

They're more A to B sorta people and don't mind if the shocks are dead, or if it looks a little rough, they just need it to run. This is my first car, and I want to take car of it, and keep it in as new condition as possible.

From what I can gather, the 120k is a pretty big job compared to the other intervals. So is it worth the extra money to take it to the dealer and have it done right? Should I take it to an independent shop who specializes in Lexus? Or should I get the service manual and do it myself? I'm pretty handy and a quick learner. I also don't mind buying the tools to do it right since I'd be saving money by doing myself.

Any advice / experience yall could share would be greatly appreciated! Also, I'm in the Orlando area, so if you have any shop suggestions, that'd be great. Thanks!

I'd take it to whomever will do the work the cheapest. Even at 120k miles, the maintenance items are routine and shouldn't be any more than a easy task for any shop to complete.
