Painting the grill black
Hello guys!
Is there anyway to paint the grill black (Something like a spray paint maybe?) ?
I have a grey 2008 and i don't like the chrome at all.

I used it on my grille and it worked perfect. A nice looking and removable solution.
If the can is cold, the paint will come out in globs and make a huge mess. Fill a sink with hot water and let the can sit in there for a few minutes before painting to get a nice smooth even coat.

I'm with the plasti-dip crowd....love the stuff...spray it on, if you like keep it, if you don't just peel it off. No harm, no foul. I did my front grill this weekend in black and blaze blue, in my mind it was going to look awesome, in reality it sucked, peeled it off, and was out $9!

I got mine painted and am happy with the outcome and the idea of longevity. However, plastidip is a great idea to experiment and see what you like and don't as its removable.
Try using a glossifier after the coats of black (or whatever colour you choose) plastidip to give it more of a glossy finish instead of the matte look if you're interested.

I haven't done anything to my grille but I'd go with plastidip because if you don't like it it's easy to remove... sure spend all that money and paint but what if you don't like it later on... I'd say plastidip wins
