Default A/c wont blow cold help!!!

I would like ask you a quick question about my car a/c system. I have a Lexus is250 and my a/c stop working. When I add freon, the a/c blows cold but if I drive the car it will blow warm. I changed the compressor, condenser, dryer, and expansion valve; the condenser fan are working as well. When I'm adding freon for the first time, the pressure reads normal low 30, and high 225 and the outside temperature is 90. However, when it blows warm the low is 80-90 and high is 100-150 and the outside temperature. I'm using an a/c manifold.

Did you evacuate the system with a vacuum pump before charging?

Also was the correct amount of oil added to the system or did the compressor come with oil in it for your application? What is the history of the AC unit? Did it slowly warm up before it stopped working? If there is a leak replacing parts is not going to solve the problem. I'd hate to say it buy throwing money at parts might not solve your problem. Sometimes it's cheaper to pay a professional to diagnose and repair than to dump money into everything you think it may be. If you do take it someplace and they evacuate the system or purge it with nitrogen make sure you get a new receiver dryer! It's just a few bucks and no need in doing all that work with a questionable part.

Let us know if you find the answer as it may help somebody else out.

I've done the diy adding freon which is a pos. You will need more than than what you added. I now take my car in to have all lines checked for leaks and they feel her up, I mean fill her up. I learned the hard way but now I know and knowing is half the battle.

If there is a leak in the system they can add die to the system and check for the leak. One thing you can do is check the high side valve to see if it's leaking there. Sometimes it's a .15 cent part that will cost you $600+ chasing down the problem. Good luck as I know it sucks driving around in a hot car when your AC should be working correctly.

A well equipped A/C repair tech will also have an electronic leak detector that can find leaks without adding dye.

The original poster never came back to say whether he pulled a vacuum before charging. Adding R134a to a system full of moisture, air and non-condensables is never going to work right.
