Thank you ClubLexus! It's been an adventure
It's my turn to say farewell to my beloved Lexus.
I want to start off by saying thank you to everyone that has helped me out on this forum. It is one of the best communities around and I do plan on sticking around. From being flamed on my first day because of not using the search button, to a day where I can sell things without a voucher, it all has been fun. Those who have helped me and inspired me know who you are, and again, Thank you!
I am in the process of selling my IS250, but in the mean time, I picked up a C63 AMG.
I have been working 40 hours a week and attending school full time. I graduated recently and decided to award myself with something nice, and fell in love with the 63. I understand and have read about the problems that come with the car, and am fully prepared for the maintenance and issues that come with it. But it's nice to say, I'm 22 and bought my own car!
I know, a thread without pics is useless!
No mods for now, need to start saving for a house!
(So to speak, but everyone knows that mod bug eventually takes over! )

Thanks man! It definitely is a great upgrade
Thank you!
Thanks! Yeah I am young, but I worked my butt off to buy this car haha
It was all worth it in the end
Haha of course everyone knows what I'm talking bout when I mention the first day of flaming
Yeah I had the IS for four years.
Worked 40 hours a week while attending college full time!
Save up a lot and you'll be able to do the same
I mean, I got no bills haha
Thank you!

Congratulations on the C63. I am a couple years older and I talked myself out of purchasing a Porsche 911turbo or s in order to save for a custom house instead. If I were you I would keep the IS as a beater car.

It always does in the long run
Don't worry, I'll be sticking around! At least until lexus comes up with newer engines
Thank you sir! You were actually my first inspiration to step into the world of modding cars haha
I graduated with a BS in Computer Information Systems with a magnum *** laude
It took me about two months to find this baby, and it was worth every dam penny and every dam second!
Haha, actually I've parted out with everything, except my lip kit and those headlights.
The Umnitza Angel eyes started taking a **** on me like half a year ago, and I decided to unplug the angel eyes. Didn't think it was worth parting out since I did sell my OEM headlights.
It's not really about the money when it comes to keeping the IS as a daily, which I would LOVE to do. It all comes down to garage space and insurance... You can imagine the quote for these cars at the age of 22, even though I have a clean record haha
Thank you sir!
I did look into the TT-RS and the Cayman S (987.2 of course), as well as C4S and etc.
The TT-RS did feel the best when it comes down to it, but handling aspects hands down goes to the Cayman S. But again, I feel in love with the C63.
I have a house savings and a car savings. I would NEVER touch my house savings for a car.
Now I just need to go find a job suiting my career
