First, I have to say thanks for the input in my previous thread. Loving this forum!

After replacing the differential with a donor and everything working out great, I'm moving on to the next problem. Bare with me, I'm going to try to explain this as best I can.

Reverse is giving me fits. I put in reverse, I can feel it engage but I'm having to give it gas before it will actually move. Sometimes a little, sometimes quite a bit. Here's the crazy part, when in reverse, it feels like the brakes are being applied. I'm having to stay on the gas to keep the car moving. If I let off, it'll stop. All forward gears are working fine.

My question, should I start looking at the transmission? This AWD is totally new to me and our local dealership is filled with mostly asshats. They actually told us that they didn't want to work on the differential because "it really wouldn't be worth it". That just motivated me.
