Please help with 2011 IS250 satnav motion hack
Hi guys
I've recently purchased a secondhand 2011 IS250 SE: (https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ml#post9070999)
I'm loving the car, but has only 1 issue with it Not being able to enter navigation destinations and not being able to select a specific MP3 while on the go. I understand (and agree) the risk of taking your eyes off the road, but not even allowing the passenger to do it is frustrating.
So I've discovered this satnav motion hack: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...le-moving.html
However, after painfully removing the center vents and satnav, I noticed that the back of my satnav looks totally different to that of the one in the link above. The guide was posted for a 2006 model, and all I can think is that they changed it on the 2nd gen IS models
Anyway, this is the harnesses I have at the back:
This is the part number on the display:
And this is the part number on the satnav itself:
And this is a web picture of how the back of my whole navigation unit looks like this:
Is there anyone with knowledge, or info, of this unit that can help me with the motion hack?
Thank you very much

Have you looked into buying a two day subscription to http://techinfo.lexus.com ? I'm not sure of its availability in South Africa, but in the US it is only $15 for the two days. It's what the dealers use for service information, and includes access to wiring diagrams.
