Since lowering the awd "stresses the axles" does that mean there is a power loss of some sort from more friction? Also was there any confirmed fix or answer as to why we get vibration at a stop while in gear?

there are "rca spacers" available. some people have reported success in minimizing vibrations. It is the CV's that are one of the main concerns with this issue. To my knowledge, any sort of modifications to the stock suspension have a negligible affect, whereby any friction or interruptions (*if any*) are not noticeable.... unless you're laying frame and your car has to drag itself, I don't see why there would be a noticeable change!
I only vibrate heavily on inclines ---> shift to neutral.
