I've been keeping an eye on this for a while and right now the best 2 options I see for integrating an iPhone into my 07 IS350 is Vaistech iVic 5i and the FlyAudio complete replacement unit. My primary goals are to get Waze up on my navscreen, and charge the phone while I listen to Pandora or whatever app I'm using. If I could get button presses on the nav screen to have an effect on the phone that'd be great, but I'm not counting on it.

Since I have the non-ML navigation I'm leaning toward the Vaistech offering, but I noticed that their iVic app is no longer in the app store, and I'm pretty sure I've downloaded it and deleted it before so I should be able to get it again I think. Seems odd.
I found a forum on the Vaistech website, but it seems pretty dead over there, maybe it's because I'm not registered, but I check back every few months and there's almost no new posts. Like did the iOS8 freezing issue ever get fixed? No apparent answer in the forums. Is the 5i still the way to go? Is there a new product coming? Where does one even get the firmware updates?

With the FlyAudio - it appears to be ideal for non-nav IS's, but I have a Nav. Apparently it can be done, but I don't know if I want to make that much of a change when I already have the Lexus one.

I'm also wondering: what else is out there for the gen 5 Nav? I've looked around quite a bit but there's always a good chance that someone knows something I don't.

What are my options as of Mid-2015? Thanks!
