I have a 2010 IS250 with AWD and I lowered it with H&R sport springs which cost me around $220. It makes such a huge difference on the appearance of the car. It makes the car look meaner.
As for the drive, there is very MINIMAL vibration when I take my foot of the gas and coast down the road. If my foot is on the gas or the brake, there is no problems at all; you only feel it when coasting and even then, it is barely noticeable and you'll forget about it within a week.

If you're on a budget, megan ez coilovers are definitely something to look at. They are very well known on CL and have some decent reviews on them. I saved up for BC's so I could have a tad more adjustability for ride stiffness.
They are both the same parent company fyi. BC's apparently are a bit sturdier-feeling.
