Hello everyone, I hope you all are doing well. I have a couple questions in regards to some mechanical issues im experiencing with my 07 IS250.

1. My rear left suspension has recently begun to make a fairly loud creaking noise, kind of like something needs to be lubricated. Is this a common occurrence? and is this something that can generally (I realize without inspecting the car its only guestimations) be fixed quickly and inexpensively or does this generally mean that my struck/shock is done and needs to be replaced?

2. My trunk randomly stopped opening via the Key Fob button, the button on the trunk and the in car button. The only way I can open the trunk now is actually using the key and putting it in the slot and manually opening it? It this generally some sort of electrical issue? is this a common issue?

Generally not an electrical issue, but rather the valet button in your glovebox was accidentally pushed. Press the valet switch and see if that doesn't fix your problem.

Wow it was the Valet Button. I have never heard of that button. Thank you very much.
Now I just need to figure out my suspension issue.

I also have this little black On/Off Button just below my Trunk/Gas lid button. It is attached right where the plastic on the dash ends bellow those buttons./ I think it might be aftermarket But no matter what I do I cannot figure out what it does if anything? Does anybody know what it could be? common modalitlies? or if its something stock?
