Radio-Headunit/Climate Controls dont come on. Backlight turns on but has blank screen
I have a 2006 Is350 RWD without nav
Everything worked fine when i bought the car. Until I uninstalled an aftermarket subwoofer and amp that was wired into the stock amp in the trunk.
I took them out and started my car and there seems to be no power to my head unit and AC. None of my buttons work so i cant turn on my radio or air conditioning. My security light blinks when it is active and the passenger seat belt light works.
But the digital clock does not work either.
The small screen that displays my audio settings does not come on BUT the backlight for the small screen that displays my climate control settings comes on but there is nothing on the screen.
None of the buttons work neither does my disc changer etc..
I purchased a new head unit thinking i blew my mine when taking out the aftermarket amp and sub. I thought it would be plug and play but when i installed it it showed the exact same problems which leads me to believe its not my headunit.
I checked 2 fuses under the hood marked radio 1 & 2, they appear to be fine.
I also checked the driver and passenger fuse compartments but i could have missed something obvious there as i didn't know what i was looking for and im missing some of the fuse box diagram.
Im not sure where to start to resolve the problem
I would like to try and fix it myself before taking to Lexus and them charge me $80 an hour just to LOOK for the problem
Please Help!

Yeah, you're missing a couple of possible in-cabin fuses that have blown. Find in your owners manual the page that details where and what all of the various fuses are. Pull them all that have another to do with the center console and test them. Remember, not all blown fuses are visible to the eye. Purchase an assortment pack of import mini fuses and replace any suspect fuses.
Good luck!
