Make sure to put it between the undercovers and the engine or remove the undercovers. If you put it on the floor it could be leaking onto the undercovers without making it to the cardboard.

Is there a reason for it to burn so much oil? Can't see any smoke at all, I used the recommend oil and used engine flush before hand.

Could be they just didnt fill it up all the way last oil change. Rare, but can happen. As others said, top it off, check for leaks and monitor the level. if continues to get lower take to dealer. There have been others on here with car burning oil issues.

There is a low oil light that will trigger if it gets extremely low, but it would definitely be good to check the dipstick occasionally and keep it topped up if needed. My IS350 consumed about half of a quart over a track weekend but it does not consume a noticeable amount during normal driving.

Thank you for the reply's
I usually do keep a good eye on the oil level but I was travelling overseas a good bit with work so a few weeks went by where I never checked. My car park space is dry and I did not see any oil on the covers. I will be having the car visually inspected this evening.
I done the service on the car myself as my father is a mechanic. I topped up the oil, let the car run and cool the checked the level and topped it up again so the level was perfect. My father did say all Lexus/Toyota burn some oil depending on the condition of the engine and the driving style.
All he can do is a visual check and the previous diagnostic came up clear. After that I just have to keep an eye on the oil level. If it gets worse I suppose in a new set of ring is that is the underlying issue.

I was having the same issue! Changed all the sparks plugs so far no toppings required. (lexus technician told me to change spark plugs at 160,000 kms but I stretched it to 167k topping was required every other-week)
