3IS Style Tail Lights on 2IS

At my recent outing to Blox Evolution I noticed that most of the 2IS in the show have these on now. I gotta say, I was skeptical at first about how these would look on our cars but every time I see them in person I continually ask myself why I haven't ordered mine yet lol. I'm honestly thinking I should just continue my build instead of upgrading to an ISF but I kind of expected my mind would change once I went to Blox lol. Good thing there was an ultra sonic blue ISF there to keep my mind In focus though Although still thinking I may add these and a tune to my 350 before completely stopping the build.

Theres a neiman marcuse edition ISF for sale here in Va. Lol. But back to the topic at hand. The lights do look cool as hell.

Quick question about this product. I've swapped my stock blinker signal module for an LED type to prevent hyper-flashing. Now, will I still need to attach the resistors that comes with this product? Also, what is the black box (resistor) for?

Spec D tail light , VSC on ...
hey all, I m from Toronto, hopefully someone will reply. I really need help. I bought these spec D led tail light and I have having issue with VSC and it’s also cutting my power down like no dash light, no radio, no power steering. I saw this post saying someone went to this shop to trick the tail light. And this basically only happen to Canadian car because we have some kind of different safety ECU . Anyone know Where is the shop to trick the tail light ?

Hey thanks for the reply . Which spec d do u have?
Most the one with the L line led right? The one with 8 resistor boxes ?
I m not sure what’s going on, but my VSC went on, and radio stopped working, it was drawing lots of power and cut my power steering eventually.
I was searching up about VSC after changing tail light.
And on top a member from Toronto said this.
How to remove the code
Hey, so I had the same issue(posted earlier in the thread) and I solved it last year. It depends where your car is from. Since my car is Canadian and the lights 78works (Japanese) the mechanic I found told me there are stict regulation here and cars here have to meet certain criteria for safety. The car LEDs caused the code C1249 to pop up cause it thinks that your bulb in the tail lights arent working. I'll try and explain what wrong the best it can and try and remember what the the mechanic said. Basically the problem is led light have pulsing wave while the regular light has a straight signal. From what I remember is my mechanic had to go to Lexus tech and ask for a diagram of how the light reacted with the computer and he wired the led lights (not sure what he used) to trick and the computer into thinking that they are bulb (oem) lights. It cost about $30, hopefully someone who knows more about these technical stuff can better explain this lol but I think this is what is happening. If you live in Toronto I can recommend the shop
